When I saw Sid at the talk he gave in Baltimore, they seemed very focused on making great games. I think they will continue to evolve the series - especially with the insane modder community that loves all the freedom they got thanks to the use of python and the great plugin framework.

It'll be three years since Episode Two came out soon. Valve needs to step it up and release Episode Three. Then again, rushing Valve is unnecessary and probably a bad idea. They know what they're doing more than any developer out there. I'm sure the conclusion to this part of the story will be epic and awesome. If you've seen the end of Two, you already know that the stakes have been raised.

That's true, a lot of my better parties have had Rock Band a central fixture of them. It's also true that Jesse's old girlfriend had some serious pipes on her. Definitely a good singer.

I'm pretty sure that Dad understands me far less as a person after hearing me play Rhythm Heaven, but it was so worth it. I'm glad you really enjoyed it, recommending games to people can be stressful.

At the very least you can enjoy all the "Meet the..." videos that TF2 is always putting out. I can't wait for the last few.

Not only did Sims 2 come out this decade, so did The Sims and The Sims 3. I've lost my enthusiasm for playing it too, don't feel bad about it.

It's really too bad that Soren Johnson left Firaxis, because I feel that he could make a huge impact on Civ 5 (he was lead designer on IV), but so long as Sid Meier is involved, I really don't see how they could go wrong.

I love the story of Half Life even though I never played the game. I think it's pretty compelling and I'm curious to see how the end it.

Some of the most fun times I've had ni your apartment have been playing rock band when you've had friends over. Like the girl who was too much like Gwen Stefani for the game to deal with.

What more can I say about Braid than what I've said on my blog? Here-> http://server.ericsbinaryworld.com/blog/2009/09/15/first-look-review-braid/
Here -> http://server.ericsbinaryworld.com/blog/2009/09/16/the-end-of-braid-part-1-of/
and Here -> http://server.ericsbinaryworld.com/blog/2009/09/20/the-end-of-braid-part-2-of/
/end shameless plug/

Portal.... what else can I say, but thank you for gifting me that game. I think it is second only to Braid for the best and most innovative game design for this decade.

Rhythm Heaven is a game that you look like an idiot playing if you don't have headphones in. But it's SO worth the humiliation. Like nearly everything Dan recommends, once I gave it a chance, it was brilliant!

Team Fortress 2. After seeing people cosplay as TF2 at Otakon I researched it. Sounds like a game I'd enjoy if I weren't so lousy at shooters.

Sims 2 came out in the decade? Wow.... it seems older than that. Part of me wishes I'd play more now that I'm not in school. The other part of me doesn't find it fun now that I'm in teh real world. Kinda how go karts have lost a lot of their appeal now that I can drive.

I will be there when Civ5 comes out. (As long as they don't f it up like Sim City did)
