Hey Joey,

I don't mean to disparage FIF concerts or anything, but just to say that the experience is a little different. Maybe Reese didn't tell people to not shove or punch when you saw him, but I'm pretty sure on the "Winners Never Quit" tour in Orlando back in 2003, he did ask us to try and not do it and I think there's even some mention of keeping it down a bit on The End is Here, but I'd have to listen in full again to make sure.

I definitely don't mean that those shows are less lively at all. In fact, while I like shoving as much as the next guy, I think I'd almost prefer to keep the moshing to a minimum. Maybe I'm just getting old, but it's a lot harder for me to enjoy the music when I'm worried about shoving people around me. That concert will always be one of my favorite shows I've ever seen filled with energy and awesomeness, so I'm sorry that I gave off the wrong impression, I was just trying to contrast the different styles.

Yo, i know this is an old post, but as a FIF fan, i just wanted to inform you that you must have gone to a bad show or something, since there was always plenty of moshing at their show, and as a person who like both Streetlight Manifesto and Five Iron Frenzy, i gotta say that Reese Roper of Five Iron Frenzy doesn't seem like the kinda guy who would discourage anything, since he is kind of running around the whole stage and keeping the crowd going most of the time.

I'm just saying, since you kind of made it sound like christian concerts are generally less lively than non-christian concerts, which is absolutely not the case :P.

haha um i warned people within the area that i was skankin and i apologized in advanced if i hit them. some lesbian couple next to me get pissed because i kept saying "Tomas, I want your D!!" then they magically loved me the rest of the night because i decided to throw out a beer bottle on the ground. then the couple in front of me got pissed because i was screaming and i thought the girl's boyfriend wanted to beat me up. but yeah, i can't wait till they're in town again. warped tour here i come!

There were tons of weird guys skankin, so I don't recognize you off the top of my mind, but it was a hell of a show. Can't wait until the next time they're in town.
