Grand Slam: The Power of Christ Compels Wins
April 17th, 2008 by Dan

Not to take too much away from today’s iPod Touch post, but who else thinks that the Papal service in Nationals Park is, to some degree, an effort to bless the team out of it’s losing streak (outside of their opening season 3-game win streak and another Braves win)?

That’s true, they could have done it in the basketball stadium. I guess we’ll see what happens next time they play a home game.

Bush threw the opening pitch at the start of the season. Everyone knows that Jesus is on Bush’s side, so the Nats went on to win three straight. Surely the Pope has Jesus on his side even more, so we’ll see if this translates into wins.

Any news on this? You’ll have to follow up tomorrow on your Wednesday Quarterback series
