Well readers, I’m finally back from Florida where my friends are getting married and so I thought I’d let you know a little bit about upcoming coverage on the site.
While I was down in Tampa I managed to get myself out to a Rays game against the Tigers courtesy of my younger brother. I’ve been to Tropicana Field before, but not since the name/uniform change, so it was good to see the stadium again. Expect a stadium review (the first of many) tomorrow with the sports update.
MLB Power Pros 2008 is awesome! I’ve been mainly focusing on constructing what will become my expansion team: the Alaska Yetis, so I’ve created 12 of the 25 men on the active roster. Expect crappy screenshots of my team (I’ll probably use a digital camera, since I don’t know how to take screen grabs) and season updates once that team actually gets off the ground.
The new game appears to have made considerable improvements and tweaks to the old formula. Once I’m done exploring the Success mode and I start to delve into the rest of the game, expect a review.
News doesn’t stop and I’ve missed tons of it, expect coverage of the bigger stories I might have missed.
I should actually get around to watching The Dark Knight this week, so expect a review once I’ve seen it.
Most importantly, you may have to expect another short hiatus as I have yet another wedding to attend this week that I’m actually a part of. Good to be back in the meanwhile and I’ll do try and get some advanced articles written to avoid another hiatus.
